Building Bridges, Fostering Understanding

The Outreach & Dawah Committee is dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships and enhancing the understanding of Islam and Muslims among diverse communities. 

Rooted in the principles outlined in the ISNS Bylaws (Version 3.4, Section 10.10), our mission is to engage with our neighbors, promote interfaith dialogue, and contribute to the well-being of society through civic initiatives.

Our Mission

We strive to create an environment where mutual respect and knowledge flourish. Through various programs and activities, we aim to:

  • Improve relationships between Muslim and non-Muslim communities.
  • Enhance understanding of Islamic values and traditions.
  • Engage in civic programs such as parades, community service projects, and public discussions.
  • Promote interfaith dialogue by collaborating with religious and community leaders.

Our Activities

  • Interfaith Events: Engaging with faith-based organizations to foster unity and understanding.
  • Educational workshops: Providing insights on Islamic teachings, culture, and history.
    Community service initiatives: Volunteering in local charity efforts and civic programs.
  • Public speaking & panel Discussions: Addressing misconceptions and building informed perspectives.
  • Open mosque days: Welcoming visitors to learn about Islam firsthand.

Book Reading Club Lead

Coordinates interfaith book reading sessions with local church leaders to encourage dialogue and mutual understanding.

Logistics coordinator

Manages in-house arrangements for guests visiting ISNS Masjid and works with  churches partners  for similar activities
